Ideal candidate is a Chemical Engineer who loves to work in Nuclear/ Enriched Uranium process design. Want to produce detailed designs in nuclear? Have experience in heat and material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, HYSIS simulations for UF6 or other forms of enriched uranium?

Why this Job is Important: The manager of this position is looking for people who love chemical engineering process design in nuclear-related projects. What could be more important than safe, practical designs for nuclear fuel, nuclear disposal, or nuclear power?
What You Will be Doing: 1. Complete process detailed design involving enriched uranium 2. Develop process simulations 3. New plant process design projects. 4. Company has major projects, typically for a large commercial concerns where they are be making enriched uranium nuclear fuel and for DOE national nuclear security administration.
What We’d Like to See in Your Background: 1. Process design experience in enriched uranium 2. Current DOE Q-level security clearance 3. BS Chemical Engineering 4. Ideal experience: process design and simulation involving heat and material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications in enriched uranium.
Location: Knoxville, TN, a terrific location for singles (home of University of TN) and ever bit as good for families (great education, low cost of living – 85% of norm, low crimes, low traffic). Company will support relocations for top talent.
Compensation: $50-63/hour to start, depending on experience, where cost of living is about 85% of national average. Consultants are hourly paid employees of the company. Pay rate will include your ability to buy own insurance. Relocation support provided.
