Production Engineer - Manufacturing Engineer - CAD/CAM - FEA
If you are a Production Engineer with a Degree and experience working with Metal Fabrication and/or heavy DOD steel welding, please read on!
LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED
What you need for this position:
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Automotive Engineering. - 5-7 years experience in Production and/or manufacturing engineering - Experience with Metal Fabrication - Experience with CAD/CAM and other IT skills. - FEA experience. - High energy and the ability to multi-task and wear many hats - Experience in heavy DOD Steel Welding a plus
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting subcontractors in processes to ensure success. - Working with drawings and developing production plans - Designing and developing new products, modifying existing products and troubleshooting - Continually improving engineering testing, design and analysis - Reducing product cost through value engineering/value analysis - Supporting internal documentation systems in accordance with TS 16949 - Interfacing with internal and external customers - Reviewing qualifications and determining suitability of vendors and their products - Supplying prototypes as required
