Do you have expertise in applying a wide range of sensors and data acquisition systems to evaluate building systems? If so, then read on!
What you need for this position:
- MS in Mechanical Engineering or applicable field
- Extensive laboratory and remote monitoring experience using sensing technologies and data acquisition
- Expertise in sensing technologies for building systems
What you'll be doing:
- Design, specify and implement high-performance sensing and data acquisition systems for the building technology building envelope and daylighting laboratories
- Develop and implement sensing and data acquisition solutions to provide publication-quality measurements for industry- and government-funded research and development projects
- Lead demonstration projects to monitor and evaluate performance of advanced building technologies
- Assess data needs, design and implement instrumentation and data acquisition(energy and moisture flows, temperature, relative humidity, pressure, infiltration, light levels, etc.)
