History
NETSHARE has been connecting executives and employers since 1991. Since its beginning, as a hard copy publication, NETSHARE's mission was to improve the process of connecting executives to quality positions by enabling members to network with one another. Six months after the company opened its doors, Kathy Simmons joined NETSHARE, bringing a unique ability to use technology to serve customers while never losing sight of the importance of personal contact. Simmons took over as President of NETSHARE in 1998 and became CEO in 2004.

- 1994 Added manual, confidential database searches for companies
- 1995 Launched first Website
- 1995 First email delivery of job postings
- 1997 Launched searchable online job board
- 1998 Offered full text of all jobs delivered by email, and the capability to respond directly to the poster.
- 1998 Added online candidate searches by recruiters and companies
- 1998 Added online file storage for members and recruiters (for storing resumes, cover letters, candidate profiles, etc.)
- 1998 Recognized by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the "best search sites" for executives
- 2000 Added teleseminars on topics such as job search strategies and negotiating compensation.
- 2000 First recognized by Forbes Magazine as the "Forbes Favorite" among executive job sites (and has remained its first place position in every subsequent year)
- 2001 Launched monthly newsletter highlighting member success stories and articles from career management professionals
- 2002 Added online member community forums and request lines
- 2005 Added a sister site, www.Experts-Connection.com, to present Webinars on career management topics.
- 2005 Added weekly strategy calls with CEO for NETSHARE members.
- 2006 Launched Ask the Coach, a weekly phone in coaching session hosted by nationally recognized coaches and recruiters.
- 2007 Launched a Webinar series geared to corporate and third party recruiters and corporate management.
